Residents will have an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and explore the natural areas around Decatur this weekend.
The Macon County Conservation District is hosting its weekly Saturday Stroll on Saturday, November 7, at Rock Springs Conservation Area.
The walk begins at 10 a.m. at Rock Springs Nature Center, where participants can join a naturalist for a guided stroll along one of the area’s trails.
Organizers say each walk offers an opportunity to discover something new in nature, with seasonal changes providing different sights and experiences throughout the year.
Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather.
The Saturday Stroll is free and open to the public. No advance registration is required.
Rock Springs Nature Center is located at 3939 Nearing Lane in Decatur.
