The Decatur Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will host its annual Holiday Market this Friday, November 6, in Decatur.
The event will run from 3 to 6 p.m. at the DMH Gift Shop, Barnes Lobby and Coffee Connection inside Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Shoppers can take advantage of a 20-percent discount on all gift shop merchandise, along with holiday drink specials at Coffee Connection. The event will also feature free food samples, complimentary cookies and holiday music performed by area musicians.
The first 50 guests who make a purchase will receive a free holiday gift.
Shoppers who make a purchase will also be entered into drawings for several prizes, including four tickets to a show of their choice at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater, a $150 gift certificate from Svendsen Winter Floral and a VIP cart experience at Trees on the Tees. The grand prize includes a seven-passenger cart, driver, music, drinks and warm donuts.
Paul Lidy, director of the Decatur Memorial Foundation, says the annual event is a chance for the community to enjoy holiday activities, shopping and special deals while kicking off the holiday season.
