The Illinois Department of Agriculture is projecting a drop in sales from its 2026 grain tours. The agency says projected sales from the two tours will total 205-point-2 million dollars, down from an estimated 236 million dollars tied to the 2025 tours. IDOA reports the 2026 Middle Eastern and Asian grain tour accounted for 120 million dollars in projected sales. The Latin American tour added another 85-point-2 million. While the early numbers point to a year-over-year decline, state agriculture officials note the final sales figures will not be available for some time.
