Mt. Zion Grade School students raised $21,800 during the school’s Rockin’ at the Grade fundraiser Friday.
The event brought students together to celebrate their fundraising efforts, with prizes awarded to top sellers and the highest-performing classes.
Money raised through the fundraiser will go toward plans to build an outdoor learning center at the school. The proposed space would provide students with another opportunity to learn outside the traditional classroom.
The event took place Friday morning at Mt. Zion Grade School, with coverage available through Braves TV on YouTube.
