HSHS Medical Group has welcomed Mindy Hartwig, an advanced practice registered nurse specializing in neurology, to its Multispecialty Care location in Decatur.
Hartwig is seeing patients at 1730 East Lake Shore Drive. She evaluates and treats conditions affecting the brain, nerves and muscles, including migraines, memory concerns, movement disorders, peripheral neuropathy and problems with balance and walking.
Hartwig brings more than 19 years of nursing experience in high-acuity clinical settings. She works with patients to help them understand their conditions and develop treatment plans that meet their needs.
She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from St. John’s College of Nursing in Springfield and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MacMurray College in Jacksonville. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
