Fuel Prices Tick Lower

Illinois drivers are seeing a little relief at the pump, but prices are still well above where they stood a month ago. AAA reports the statewide average for regular unleaded was $4.65 last Thursday. That’s down eleven cents from the previous week’s $4.76 average, but still thirty-six cents higher than the $4.29 average reported one month earlier. Illinois also remains above the national average, which AAA listed at $4.37.
