A power outage is affecting part of Christian County Friday, with Ameren Illinois reporting 112 customers without service.
According to the Ameren outage map, the outage began at about 10:57 Friday morning. Ameren lists the cause as damage from a tree, with the outage assigned to a serviceman or crew.
Ameren’s estimated restoration time for that outage is 2 p.m. Friday.
The outage has also affected operations at the Christian County Courthouse.
County officials announced the courthouse closed at 11:30 Friday morning because of mechanical issues stemming from a power outage.
All other county offices will remain open and operate on their normal schedules through the close of business Friday.
The courthouse is scheduled to reopen Monday at 8 a.m.
