DECATUR, Ill. — A light Wednesday night schedule around the Decatur area featured two volleyball matches and one boys soccer contest.
Warrensburg-Latham stayed in the win column with a 2-0 victory over Tri-City. The Cardinals won the match in straight sets and continued a strong stretch on the volleyball court.
Mt. Zion was pushed to three sets but came up short against Sacred Heart-Griffin, falling 2-1.
In boys soccer, St. Teresa ran into a tough Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin side and was shut out 4-0 on the road.
With only a handful of varsity events on the schedule, those three results made up the main Decatur-area action from Wednesday night.
