Road Work Announced For East Grand Ave In Decatur

Drivers in Decatur should expect intermittent lane closures on East Grand Avenue beginning Monday.

Dunn Company will begin milling and paving work on East Grand Avenue between Jasper Street and North 22nd Street.

The work is expected to continue through October 5, weather permitting. Crews will use a moving work zone with one lane of traffic open and flaggers present to direct drivers.

Motorists traveling through the area should use caution, expect delays and consider an alternate route while the work is underway.
