The bracket is set for the 2026 Decatur Turkey Tournament, and this year’s eight-team field will bring some of the state’s top teams and players to Decatur over Thanksgiving week.
The tournament will be played November 24, 25, 27 and 28, with all 12 games airing live on 106.3 The Game, from Tuesday’s opening round through Saturday night’s championship.
There will be no shortage of storylines entering this year’s tournament.
Peoria Manual comes to Decatur after winning the Class 2A state championship last season, giving the field a defending state champion.
Bolingbrook brings one of the biggest individual attractions in the tournament, featuring one of the top players in the state and one of Illinois’ most highly regarded prospects.
The host MacArthur Generals are also coming off a historic season, making the deepest postseason run in program history a year ago. The Generals reached the Class 3A super-sectional before their season came to an end, setting the stage for another highly anticipated year in Decatur.
Tournament play begins Tuesday, November 24, when Bolingbrook faces Peoria Central at 6 p.m. Champaign Central and Eisenhower follow at 7:30 p.m.
The bottom half of the bracket takes the floor Wednesday. Peoria Manual meets Lanphier at 6 p.m., followed by Springfield Southeast against MacArthur at 7:30 p.m.
After Thanksgiving Day off, four games will be played Friday. The consolation semifinals are scheduled for 1 and 2:30 p.m., with the championship semifinals at 6 and 7:30 p.m.
Four placement games close out the tournament Saturday, November 28. The consolation third-place game begins at 1 p.m., followed by the consolation championship at 2:30 p.m. The championship-bracket third-place game tips at 6 p.m., with the 2026 Decatur Turkey Tournament championship game scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
