IDOT Accepts Paratransit Grant Applications

The Illinois Department of Transportation is now accepting grant applications to help public transportation providers and eligible nonprofit organizations obtain accessible paratransit vehicles. The funding is available through IDOT’s Consolidated Vehicle Procurement program, which allows the state to purchase vehicles on behalf of approved recipients using federal transportation dollars. The program is designed to improve mobility for seniors, people with disabilities, and others who rely on specialized transit services.
