State Fair Announces Discount Days

The Illinois State Fair is rolling out several discount days for its 2026 run in Springfield. The fair opens August 13 and continues through August 23 at the state fairgrounds. Opening day brings the “Double the Fun” parking promotion. On “TWOsday,” August 18, adults can get in for $2, with carnival rides also priced at $2. Veterans and Gold Star families receive free admission August 16. Seniors and scouts in uniform get in free August 17. First responders and health care workers with proper ID will receive free admission August 21.
