A Decatur man has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with a deadly shooting last year at Sportsman Park. Joshua Gregg Junior entered the plea last Thursday in Macon County Court. Authorities say the case stems from a December shooting at the Decatur park that killed 18-year-old Landin Bodine. Gregg had been charged following the incident, which drew attention across the community because of Bodine’s young age and the public location of the shooting. With the guilty plea now entered, the case moves to sentencing. Gregg is scheduled to learn his punishment on September 1st.
