Northbound Brush College Road Lane to Close Tuesday Morning

Drivers in Decatur should expect delays Tuesday morning as the City of Decatur performs maintenance along North Brush College Road.

The city’s Forestry Division will be mowing hillsides along the 1300 to 1700 blocks of North Brush College Road near the underpass on Tuesday, July 28.

The work will require the closure of the northbound lane at the underpass from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Traffic control devices, including signs, cones, flaggers, and an arrow board, will be in place to guide motorists through the area. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, use caution, and consider an alternate route if possible.

The city says the closure is expected to end by late Tuesday morning, weather permitting.
