Decatur restaurant closes store, plans food truck

Bobbie Lane’s BBQ is closing its Decatur restaurant on North Franklin Street. In a Facebook post Saturday, the owners said operating costs had become too high, and they’d lost some of the passion that made the restaurant special. But Bobbie Lane’s isn’t leaving the community. The business will continue through its food truck, catering, and private and community events. A permanent food truck location has not been announced. Updates will be posted on the Bobbie Lane’s BBQ Facebook page.
