Millikin University has announced a new partnership with Bradley University that will create a direct admission pathway into Millikin’s Master of Business Administration program, giving qualified Bradley students a streamlined route to continue their graduate education.
The agreement, which takes effect during the 2026-2027 academic year, establishes a Direct Admit pathway into Millikin’s MBA program through the Tabor School of Business. University officials say the partnership is intended to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions while expanding access to graduate business education for students across Central Illinois.
Under the agreement, Bradley University undergraduate students who meet eligibility requirements will have a guaranteed pathway to pursue admission into Millikin’s MBA program. To qualify, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0, submit a resume and complete an interview with the Millikin MBA Program Director. Eligible students will also have the opportunity to apply for graduate assistantships while enrolled.
RJ Podeschi, dean of Millikin’s Tabor School of Business, said the partnership reflects the university’s commitment to creating opportunities for students to continue their education.
“We are proud to partner with Bradley University to create a clear and accessible pathway into our MBA program,” Podeschi said. “This agreement allows us to connect with high-achieving students early and provide them with a graduate experience that blends academic rigor with hands-on, career-focused learning.”
Millikin’s 40-credit MBA program is offered in a hybrid format that combines online and in-person coursework. The curriculum emphasizes the university’s Performance Learning approach, giving students opportunities to apply classroom concepts in real-world settings.
Students enrolled in the program can also pursue specialized coursework in artificial intelligence, business analytics, cybersecurity, finance and healthcare administration.
Jaclyn Cantwell, director of Millikin’s MBA program, said the partnership is designed to help prepare students for leadership roles in today’s workforce.
“Our MBA equips students with the confidence, skills and professional experience needed to lead in today’s business environment, and we look forward to supporting Bradley students as they take this next step in their academic and career journeys,” Cantwell said.
As part of the partnership, Millikin and Bradley will work together throughout the admissions process by offering information sessions and guidance to prospective MBA students.
Bradley Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Daniel Moon said the agreement provides another option for students considering graduate education while building on the academic foundation they established as undergraduates.
Millikin officials say the agreement is part of the Tabor School of Business’ ongoing effort to expand educational opportunities through partnerships that address the changing needs of today’s workforce.
