Firefighters were called to ADM in Decatur Wednesday afternoon after reports of a fire at the facility.
The Decatur Fire Department says crews responded shortly after 3 p.m. and found the fire contained inside a processing vessel. Officials say ADM personnel had already taken steps to control the situation before requesting assistance from firefighters.
DFD crews remained on scene for about three hours, helping extinguish the remaining fire and making sure the area was safe.
No additional details have been released.
