Illinois drivers are being asked to help shape the future of transportation across the state. The Illinois Department of Transportation has opened its annual Traveler Opinion Survey, seeking public feedback on road conditions, transit options, safety, construction, communication, and overall agency performance. The survey is being conducted in partnership with the University of Illinois Springfield and is available online through August eleventh. State officials say responses help guide planning, improve services, and identify what matters most to people who travel Illinois roads, rails, bike paths, and sidewalks. Residents can take part by visiting the Traveler twenty-twenty-six survey online.
