President Donald Trump is again pressing Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker over violence in Chicago, asking why the state has not requested federal help. The comments follow a violent weekend in the city, where shootings left at least six people dead and more than 30 others injured. One of the largest incidents happened Friday night on 95th Street, a few blocks west of the Dan Ryan Expressway, where at least 12 people were hurt in a drive-by shooting. In a social media post on Sunday, Trump claimed he could make Chicago a safe city within one month.
