The Decatur Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in solving this week’s Crime of the Week. Detectives are currently investigating a shots fired incident that occurred at 1355 N IL Route 48 on 6/14/2026 at approximately 2am.
Responding officers located 20 spent shell casings in the parking lot. Three subjects arrived at an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was described as a black male, tall, thin build with dreads, wearing all black.
