Police Seeking Woman In SUV Fire In Decatur

Police in Decatur are searching for a woman after an SUV caught fire Friday night on North Woodford Street. Investigators say the incident happened in the 31-hundred block, while a man was driving with the woman in the passenger seat. Authorities report she began pulling on the steering wheel before eventually running from the vehicle. Moments later, a fire started inside the SUV and spread through it. Police have not said whether anyone was hurt. Investigators say they want to identify and interview the woman to learn more about what led up to the fire.
