Shell Casings Found In Yard Of Decatur Home

Police in Decatur are investigating after more than 20 shell casings were discovered late Saturday night in a front yard near North Dennis and West Harrison avenues. Authorities say the spent casings came from four different handguns. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries in the incident. At this time, no arrests have been made. Officers searched the area after the gunfire but have not released information on possible suspects or motives. Residents in the neighborhood are asked to remain vigilant and contact police with any information as the investigation continues.
