KC Finds Vendor Market in Decatur, Closing July 26

KC Finds, a popular vendor market in Decatur, will permanently close on July 26. The store, housed in a former ACE Hardware on North Main Street, faced persistent roof leaks that destroyed both its inventory and vendor merchandise. Owner Carol Kesler described the situation as heartbreaking, emphasizing her desire for KC Finds to be more than just a retail space. Among its 150 vendors was MRI, an organization supporting people with disabilities, whose clients created crafts and t-shirts sold at the store. Despite the closure, Kesler is exploring the possibility of relocating to better serve the local community.
