At the Illinois State Police Academy in Springfield, 20 new troopers were officially welcomed as they graduated from Cadet Class 152. This group, the 25th to graduate under Governor JB Pritzker and ISP Director Brendan F. Kelly, completed an intensive 27-week program followed by a 14-week field training period. The troopers will be assigned to posts in LaSalle/Moline (10), Chicago (9), and Collinsville (1). Since 2019, 741 new troopers have joined the force. Officials praised the graduates’ dedication and service, noting they will earn approximately $90,000.
