Forrest W. “Bo” Wood Area Temporarily Closed

The Bo Wood Recreation Area is set for a temporary closure from February 17 through February 20. Visitors should note that the entire area—including the entrance road, dog park, and boat ramp—will be off-limits to both vehicles and pedestrians during this period. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has scheduled this closure to allow maintenance crews to safely carry out necessary work throughout the park. Officials acknowledge the inconvenience for local residents and recreational users and ask for continued patience and cooperation.
