Possible Tornado Touched Down In Macon County
Macon County officials are waiting on confirmation as to whether or not a tornado touched down in Long Creek yesterday. The National Weather Service observed a tornado after 3 p.m. yesterday, moving east with a line of storms from Macon County into Piatt County. Homes were damaged along Jeanette Drive, Skyline Drive, and Baltimore Avenue. More than two thousand residents reportedly lost power in Macon County.
