Sean Grayson Appears For Final Pre-Trial Hearing

The former Sangamon County Sheriff’s deputy charged in the killing of Sonya Massey last year will head to trial later this month. Sean Grayson appeared yesterday for his final pre-trial hearing. He chose to stand trial in front of a jury. Proceedings are set to begin on October 20th in Peoria County. Grayson is charged with first-degree murder in Massey’s July 2024 shooting death inside her home.
