Pritzker To Address Budget Deficit In Today’s State Of State
(Springfield, IL) — Governor J.B. Pritzker giving his annual State of the State address today. The governor expected to lay out his vision for Illinois while addressing a potentially large budget deficit. Estimates released last year project a three-point-two billion dollar budget deficit for fiscal 2026. Meanwhile, it’s expected that federal funding cuts will impact the state’s budget in coming years.
