Dozens Of Weather-Related Crashes Reported Across The State
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois State Police say they’ve responded to more than 130 accidents or drivers in distress since Saturday. Slipper road conditions due to winter storms was the main cause. State police are urging drivers to proceed with extreme caution in the case of severe weather. Meanwhile, no reprieve for Illinois, as most of the state is expecting more snow over the next few days.
