Taylorville Woman Sentenced To Probation For Stealing From Christian Co YMCA

(Taylorville, IL) — A former employee at the Taylorville YMCA is receiving probation for stealing from the nonprofit. Lori Zeitler was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay 600-thousand dollars in restitution after pleading guilty to wire fraud. Prosecutors say while working at the Christian County YMCA, Zeitler stole more than 292 thousand dollars and was responsible for 600 thousand dollars in losses. She worked at the YMCA for 32 years in various roles, including bookkeeper.
