Illinoisans Should Leave Fireworks Displays To Trained Professionals
(Springfield, IL) — The Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the state fire marshal are urging the public to leave fireworks displays to trained professionals. The National Fire Protection Association says fireworks started more than 12-thousand fires in 2021. Those fires caused 29 injuries and 59 million dollars in direct property damage.
