Western Illinois Under Heat Advisory
Dangerously hot weather is hitting a portion of Western Illinois. The National Weather Service says highs could reach the 90s, with heat index values possibly in the triple digits. A Heat Advisory will be in effect for much of the day for the region. People are urged to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
