ISP Trooper Hurt In I-57 Crash
(Union Co., IL) — An Illinois State Police trooper is recovering following a crash in Union County. Authorities say an ISP squad car was parked Monday night on the shoulder of I-57, just north of Lick Creek Road. The trooper was inside of the squad when it was hit by a white Infiniti. The trooper was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Infiniti, Kimberly Keser, was cited for the Move Over Law and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
