Illinois House To Consider Homicide-Related Bills
(Rockford, IL) — The Illinois House will consider two homicide-related bills. Representative Kam Buckner has introduced the Homicide Victims Families Rights Act, which would allow families to request a further review of unsolved cases that are at least three years old. Her second bill, the Homicide Data Transparency Act would require law enforcement to publish how many homicides results in arrests or charges.
