Man Wanted For Animal Abuse In Decatur Arrested
(Decatur, IL) — A man accused of animal abuse in Decatur is awaiting trial. An arrest warrant was issued for Derrick Tyus for three counts of Cruel Treatment after two dead puppies and one malnourished puppy were found last month in the backyard of a home on East Whitmer Street. He was arrested yesterday and booked into the Macon County Jail. Tyus was released pending trial.
