2023 Could Set Record For Accidental Overdose Deaths In Sangamon Co
(Sangamon Co., IL) — This year could set a record for accidental overdose deaths in Sangamon County. Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon says 2023 will have more than the record-setting 74 deaths from last year. So far this year, there have been 64 accidental overdose deaths and ten cases are pending. The final number will be released in mid-February.
