Springfield Man Accused Of Stabbing Father On Thanksgiving Day
(Springfield, IL) — A Springfield man is accused of stabbing his father on Thanksgiving Day. Authorities say the victim was found stabbed last Thursday at a home in the 28-hundred block of South 14th Street. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Deputies found his son, Jonathan Guimard, in a bathtub inside the house possibly trying to destroy evidence. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder and aggravated domestic battery.
