Holiday Rush is On as Illinois Tollway Expects Millions on the Road
(Springfield, IL) — The Thanksgiving holiday rush is underway as officials with the Illinois Tollway estimate 8-point-8 million motorists are on the road for the holiday. Yesterday was expected to be the heaviest day for travel. Illinois Tollway officials remind drivers to use caution on the road. They also promote their Pay by Plate service and I-Pass to make the traveling more convenient.
