Man Charged In Shooting That Wounded Two Millikin University Students
(Decatur, IL) — A man is facing charges in a road rage shooting last month that left two Millikin University students wounded in Decatur. Police say the two victims had just left a church function on October 15th when they were nearly involved in an accident with another vehicle. Someone in the other vehicle then fired shots at their vehicle. Both victims suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Following an investigation, Dontarious Murphy was arrested yesterday on charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.
