One Dead In Decatur House Fire
(Decatur, IL) — Authorities are investigating the cause of a deadly fire in Decatur. The blaze started Saturday morning in a home in the 15-hundred Block of Hunt Street. John McKinney was found dead in the kitchen. An autopsy indicated probable carbon monoxide intoxication due to the inhalation of smoke and soot from the fire.
