Decatur Man Charged With Attempted Rape In St. Louis Area
(St. Louis, MO) — A Decatur man is accused of trying to rape a woman while working as a DoorDash delivery driver in the St. Louis area. Travaye Gaines faces multiple charges, including attempted rape and sexual misconduct. Police say Gaines forced his way into a woman’s apartment while delivering food Tuesday. He groped her before the victim was able to escape to a neighbor’s home. Gaines was arrested after police communicated with DoorDash.
