Springfield Man Pleads Guilty To 2019 Murder
(Springfield, IL) — A Springfield man is pleading guilty to a 2019 murder. Cody Weller faces up to 60 years in prison after entering the guilty plea yesterday, the same day he was set to stand trial for the killing of Max Oglesby. He was accused of stabbing the victim to death in June of 2019 in the two-thousand block of South First Street over a theft of 100-dollars.
