Three Wounded In Downtown Champaign Shooting
(Champaign, IL) — Three people are wounded following a shooting in downtown Champaign. Police say shots were fired early yesterday in the 200 block of North Neil Street. An 18-year-old from Fort Worth, Texas and a man from Donna, Texas were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. A Gary, Indiana man also arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. All three remain in stable condition. The initial investigation indicates that a group was gathered when one person opened fire. No arrests have been made.
