Champaign Police Investigating Deadly Triple Shooting
(Champaign, IL) — Champaign police are investigating a deadly triple shooting. Authorities say officers were called out Thursday night to an apartment in the 800 block of South Mattis Avenue. There they found three shooting victims. All three were taken to the hospital, where one died. A preliminary investigation indicates that the men were gathered inside an apartment when an altercation took place. During the altercation, a fourth person pulled out a gun and shot all three victims. No arrests have been made.
