Coroner ID’s Woman Killed In Domestic Violence Incident In Decatur
(Decatur, IL) — The Macon County Coroner is revealing the identity of the woman killed in a domestic violence incident last week in Decatur. Cheryl Russell was found stabbed to death at her home last Thursday. Officers were called to the scene by a man telling dispatch he killed his wife. The victim’s ex-husband, Gary Russell, was located outside the home. He was arrested and charged with murder and his bond was set at three-million-dollars.
