Teen Charged In Deadly Stabbing Outside Springfield HS Sentenced
(Springfield, IL) — The teen found guilty of stabbing another teenager to death outside Springfield’s Lanphier High School in 2021 is getting 43 years in prison. Kamyjah Bias was sentenced yesterday after being convicted of nine total counts, including three counts of first-degree murder. Authorities say she was 15-years-old when she killed 18-year-old Pierre Scott Jr. During her sentencing, Bias got up from her seat at the defense table and rushed toward the victim’s mother, who was giving a victim impact statement.
