Springfield Man Sentenced To Prison for Drug and Firearm Offenses
(Springfield, IL) — A Springfield man is going to prison for drug and gun offenses. Alonzo Hampton was sentenced in federal court to 84 months for possession with the intent to distribute heroin and for illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Hampton was found in possession of heroin and cocaine with the intent to distribute those substances, and illegally had a handgun. He pleaded guilty in October.
