Over 400K Powerball Winners In IL
Over 400-thousand lottery players in the state matched some combination of Powerball numbers. Thirteen tickets matched four of the five numbers, plus the Powerball. Eleven of those won 50-thousand dollars, while two paid for the Power Play multiplier and won 100-thousand dollars. Nearly one-thousand Illinoisans matched either three or four out of five numbers plus the Powerball to win one-hundred dollars. An additional 403-thousand-428 players matched a lesser combination, leading to a statewide total of just under three-million in winning tickets.
