12yo Boy Critically Wounded In Champaign Shooting
A 12-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in Champaign. Police say officers responded Wednesday night to the 23-hundred block of Sangamon Drive, where they found the victim in a vehicle with life-threatening gunshot wounds to the neck. The child was taken to the hospital. Investigators determined that the boy was shot while riding in a vehicle with an older family member.
