Deadly Police Shooting In Decatur Under Investigation
State police are investigating a deadly police shooting in Decatur. Authorities say officers made a traffic stop early yesterday in the 13-hundred block of East Walnut. One officer noticed what appeared to be a handgun in the vehicle. As the officers attempted to remove the driver, gunshots were exchange between the man and the officers. The driver was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the hospital. He was identified as Jamontey Neal. Two officers were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.
